Benjamin G. Thomas, 1990-2012

Benjamin G. Thomas (Ohio Wesleyan University) passed away May 6, 2012 at the age of 22. Thomas joined Mu Chapter in 2009 then later left school for a tour of duty with the U.S. Navy as a hospitalman apprentice and member of the Color Guard. Thomas also worked part-time as an assistant nurse at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Passavant. He returned to Ohio Wesleyan in the fall of 2011.
During his time at Ohio Wesleyan, Thomas made many friends who were inspired by his dedication to environmental and political issues and were touched by his kindness and compassion. He was a political science and government major who also worked with Wesleyan Council on student affairs to make the campus a better place for everyone.
